Blind Law Student Qualified. —

The first blind student ever to graduate from a Brazilian law school will receive his Doctor of Laws degree from the Pontifical Catholic University in Porto Alegre, Brazil, at the end of the term. Mr Valkirio Bertoldo, aged 27, has had to write his own law books in Braille since these are non-existent in Brazil. With a special filing system invented by himself, he can find any book in his library.—Rio de Janeiro.
