Three Injured When Car Hits Truck

(New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, Nov. 3. Three young persons were injured, two of them seriously, when the car in which they were travelling struck the back of a parked articulated truck i'i Fairy Springs road. Rotorua, late last night. The injured persons are:— Betty Wickliffe, aged 18. the' driver of the car, who suffered; concussion and cuts, condition j serious: Frederick Douglas, aged 18. concussion and a suspected! fracture of the spine, condition! serious; and Philip Amohau. aged' 17, concussion ana cuts, condition' satisfactory. All were admitted to the Rotorua Hospital. The car was extensively damaged.
