PARACHUTIST HAS NARROW ESCAPE

I A North Island parachutist, Mr Alvis Blanchard, who holds the Australian and New Zealand records of 14.000 ft for a delayed parachute jump, narrowly escaped I serious injury when he fell across a wire clothes line while descendI ing in a delayed jump from 4000 ft during a paracb Me display [ at the Ashburton airport yesterday.
