Goif G. Player Wins At Kensington

Gary Player, won the £3OOO sponsored golf tournament at Kensington yesterday -when he finished two strokes ahead of David Thomas, <>f Wales. Plaver's total of 2RI for the 72 holes gave him the title for the second time.

The New Zealand Canada Cup player. J. Kelly, had a total of 299 rounds of 76. 74. 77. and 72.

With a magnificent six-under-scratch in his third round of 66 in the morning. Player challenged Thomas, the overnight leader. Then he outplayed him in the afternoon with at round of 71—one under scratch.

Another South African, Harold Henning, was third with 284. Peter Thomson and the Australian professional champion. Les Wilson, were next with 286.
