TASMAN AIR SERVICES
Discussion On Plans For Integration
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 30.
Consultations between the New Zealand and Australian governments and T.E.A.L. and Qantas airlines were continuing on the integration of trans-Tasman air services, but there were no new developments, the chairman of directors of T.E.A.L. (Sir Leonard Isitt) said today.
Accompanied by Mr N. B. Spencer, a T.E.A.L. director, he had just returned from a meeting of directors in Sydney. He said the meeting discussed the replacement of DC6 aircraft on the Tasman run but, because insufficient information on routes was available, no decision was made.
