U.S. Antarctic Chaplain Chaplain John E. Zoller, oi the United States Navy Antarctica, has received a letter from President Eisenhower m appreciation for sending him a special mectal commemorating the ®econd United States Antarctica Operation; “I am deeply appi‘.native of the thought that prompted you ano your men at Little America to send me one of the special medals showing the map of Antarctica and the location -»l the various United States posts ” said the President in teis leitei written on White House stationery. “It has great meaning to me both as a symbol of the tine work the men of Operation Deep Freeze 11 are doing at personal sacrifice and hardship and because it gives me a feeling oi participation with you in your important mission. “For your prayers and yom thought of me. I am more than grateful to you and all your men who are. or have been engaged in the operation. My warm thanks and best wishes.”
