CHURCH SERVICE SOCIETY
The twenty-first anniversary of the Church Service Society was held last evening. About 40 members attended. The society was founded in November, 1936. Its first president was the late Professor Dickie, of Knox Theological College. Dunedin, who held office there for seven years. The society was formed for thestudy of music, worship and archi-l lecture within the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Speakers at the anniversary i were the president (the Rev. D i M. Hercus), the Rev. I. A. Purdie! and the Rev. C. R. Sprackett The ■ annual meeting of the society will: be held today.
