Cyclist Seriously III

Miss Phyllis Stone, of 66 Joi lie street. Linwood, who was injured on Wednesday in a collision between a car and the cycle she was riding, was yesterday reported to be on the seriously ill list at the Christchurch Public Hospital. Late last evening she was reported to have shown a slight improvement, but had not been taken from the list. Miss Stone was injured at the corner of Hargood street and Ferrv road about 4.50 p.m. on Wednesday. She suffered head injuries and an injury to the left foot. The driver of the car was Martin Leo Williams, of 24a Dyers road.
