West Christchurch-University A 222 for four declared beat Technical Old Boys 92 and 20 (Bradshaw five for 9) by an innings and 110 runs. Lancaster Park 166 beat St. Albans 32 and 60 (Barnes four for 15) by an innings and 74 runs. Sydenham 197 and 123 for three declared beat Riccarton 111 and 147 (Anderson 65; Willoughby four for 27) outright. THIRD GRADE B West Christchurch-University 144 drew with Lancaster Park 115 for eight. Riccarton 166 (Morel 52) beat Sydenham 91 on the first innings. Old Collegians 121 for three (Wreaks 43 not out) beat Marist 116 (Calder 51 not out) on the first innings. THIRD GRADE C St. Bede's 64 and 176 for five (Hyndman 73 not out, Lennon 70 not out) beat Boys’ High School A 100 and 123 (Bradley five for 25) by five wickets. Boys’ High School B 224 beat Linwood High School 106 and 89 for eight on the first innings. St. Andrews 164 and 114 (Hawes four for 11) beat Technical College 144 (Dysart four for 30) on the first innings. Christ's College A 92 for six declared (Lowry four for 26) and 37 for one beat Christ's College B 87 on the first innings.

FOURTH GRADE A St. Albans 126 beat Marist 116 (McCarthy 49; Albone four for 12) on the first innings. Lancaster Park B 73 (Grundy five for 23) and 42 for six (Grundy five for 16) beat East Christchurch 64 and 34 (Miller five for 21) by four wickets.

West Christchurch-University 83 beat Lancaster Park A 71 on the first innings.

High School Old Boys 179 for three declared (MacPherson 105 not out. Belcher 53 not out) beat Technical Old Boys 55 (Belcher six for 23) and 55 (Aitken four for 15) by an innings and 69 runs.

FOURTH GRADE B Christ's College A 66 beat St. Bede's B 42 on the first innings. Boys' High School A 142 for six declared (Mitchell 40 not out) beat St. Bede's A 60 (Sinclair four for 8. Stonyer four for 22) and 43 (Stonyer six for 14) by an innings and .39 runs. Boys’ High School B 100 beat Christ’s College 52 (Edlin six for 3) and 13 (Edlin six for 2) by an innings and 35 runs.

Technical College 132 beat West High School 64 on the first innings.
