Post Office Lights
1 Sir.—“ Service" has my sympathy. The insolent reply of the i Post and Telegraph Department's i spokesman shows clearlv the great gulf fixed between the servants of a State monopoly and | those of private enterprise. What I private concern would save a few I ‘shillings worth of electricitv tn inconvenience its customers? I hope that in a day or two the Chief Postmaster will show him- ■ self a sufficient gentleman and 'businessman to reply further to “Service": “I thank ‘Service’ for drawing my attention to the unsatisfactory lighting in the private box lobby.”— etc..
