Soviet Aid To Syria
(N.Z. Press Association-Copyright) DAMASCUS, Sept. 20. A 19-man Soviet team of technical experts, who have come to Damascus to discuss economic aid, yesterday held their first meeting with Syrian officials. An announcement after the meeting said that both parties had agreed to set up joint committees of experts to examine various projects and to expedite an economic Sid agreement.
