STOCK STEALING CHARGES
Farm Manager Found Not Guilty (New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE, August 30. A jurj in the Supreme Court today found Edward Benjamin Clews, aged 52. farm manager, not guilty on nine charges of theft as a servant of stock valued a* £lOO5 ss. Clews pleaded not guilty to four charges of stealing stock valued at £642 6s 2d from the East Coast Commissioner and five similar charges relating to stock totalling £362 17s 6d the property of the Tahora block.
