New Agricultural Degrees
Regulations had now been agreed on for two revised bachelor’s degrees—in agriculture and in agriculture (horticulture) allowing variations to suit the special needs of each college and these would probably be authorised by legislation this year; so the new three-year course should be available in 1958, the Chancellor (Sir David Smith) announced at the Senate meeting TLis was a good example of the new procedure-by which any college could establish a course to meet individual needs.
