National Party And Land
Sir, —Neolithic man is said to have been pretty thick in the head. But when one finds Labours’ supporters still hacking away at the word “Tory,” and harping about the depression, thinking of life only in terms of money and political hand-outs one wonders if the mind of man is capable of progress, and if expansion of the consciousness is possible. If this cap also fits, then may “Nats Be Bowled ’57" and his fellow-hatters wear it.— Yours, etc., JONAH. August 27, 1957.
Sir, —My letter should read: “It is stated there are two parties, those interested in the ‘flock’ and those in the ‘fleece.’ ” Michael Savage and. Peter Fraser, by their humanitarian policies, certainly belong to the former and your correspondent, “Jonah” belongs to the latter.—Yours, etc., NATS BE BOWLED ’57.' August 27, 1957.
