SELWYN LICENSING DISTRICT NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FOR NEW PUBLICAN’S LICENCE Licensing Act 1908 and its Amendments NOTICE is hereby given . under Section 52 (1) of the Licensing Amendment Act, 1948, that the Licensing Control Commission of New Zealand has authorised the issue of a new publican’s licence as set out in the Schedule below, and that the Selwyn Licensing Committee will consider applications for such licence. The situation, locality, or area in which the licence is authorised to be issued is specified in the said Schedule. Particulars of minimum standards of accommodation and services laid down by the Licensing Control Commission and required to be provided for the proposed licensed premises are available for public inspection during office hours at my office. Each application shall be made in accordance with the Licensing Act, 1908, the Licensing Amendment Act, 1948, and the Licensing Regulations, 1949, and shall be lodged with the Clerk of the Selwyn Licensing Committee at the Magistrates’ Court, Christchurch, within 60 days after the Third and Final publication of this notice.
Each application shall be accompanied by a statement in writing, specifying particulars of the site, and of the premises or proposed premises, in respect of which the application is made, and of the estate or interest of the applicant therein, together with detailed scale plans of the site and of the whole of the premises or proposed premises. In their own interest, applicants should lodge at least three copies of documents and plans, and lodge further copies if these are required. Further information, details of which can be ascertained from my office, is required for transmission to the Licensing Control Commission. SCHEDULE .
