Three Cars And A Bus In Accident

Three cars and a Christchurch Transport Board bus were involved in a concertina-type accident in Colombo street, between Gloucester street and the Square, about 5.15 p.m. yesterday. The vehicles were in a line of traffic being directed by a traffic officer. When the first car, a recent English model, stopped suddenly, a small pre-war English car ran into the back of it. Another small English car, driven by a woman, ran into the second car, and the bus struck the rear of the third car.
