Effect On Interests Of Students
(New Zeaiana Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 18. The New Zealand University Students’ Association today decided to take steps to ensure that the interests of students are not adversely affected by impending changes in the administrative structure of the University of New Zealand. , . The meeting directed the Association executive to seek.student representation on any new central body which may be established in the development of university autonomy.
The association has been advised that the Senate will recon sider the question of student representation on the Senate at its next meeting. The proposal had been rejected at the February meeting of the Senate,
