K FORCE MEN TO RETURN
Arrival In City Today Ten S nith island K-Force men will arrive in Christchurch by air from, Auckland thia afternoon They will travel to an R.N.Z.A.F. Bristol Freighter of the Transport Support: Unit which will arrive at Wigram at 1.30 p.m. The aircraft will stop nt Woodbourne at 11.30 a.m. to land three men. The men left Hong Kong on August S in a Handley-Page Hastings of the No. 40 (Transport) Squadron. They were originally to have arrived in Christchurch by steamer-express yesterday, but the Hastings did not arrive at Whenuapai until 4 p.m. yesterday. The members of the party are Corporals R. J. A. Cawkill (Christchurch), F. R. Harman (Nelson), T. H. Rang! (Motueka), and S. A. Shieffelblen (Dunedin); Lance-corporal F. J. Miles (Dunedin); Drivers R. N. Browne, T. L. M. Clarkson, D. M. Crawford. P. A. Gifford (Christchurch), D. G. Lyford (Marlborough), D. A. McMillan, R. J. Te Rau (Dunedin), R. W. Pope (Blenheim). W. J. Steel (Rangiora) and A. J. Wilson (Mosglel).
