Use of Adhesives.—The use of adhesives and their derivatives is growing rapidly* in Britain. They are being used for permanent starch for collars, as anti-snag for stockings, and to enable labels to be stripped off and used several times again: Industry is also using adhesives instead of the more expensive sewing, tacking or screwing.—London, August 10.
