TRACTOR CRUSHES FARMER
Vehicle Overturns On Hill (New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON N., July 30 A 45-year-old Ashhurst farmer was killed instantly when he was crushed beneath a wheeled tractor he was operating on his farm today. He was: Alfred Henry Youle, of Pohangina road, Ashhurst, married, with two children. Mr Youle was helping a Mana-watu-Oroua Electric Power Board gang to clear trees away from power lines on his property along the side of the road, when the accident occurred. The ' hill on which he was working was not particularly steep, but the tractor overturned when Mr Youle was pulling some trees clear. Child Killed By Bus Driven By Father (New Zeatana Press Association i WHANGAREI, July 30. A 20-months-old child was killed instantly when .struck by a school bus driven by her father, Mr James Kingi, schoolteacher, of the Okaihau District High School, n?ar Whangarei.
