Second Draft For Malaya

More than 100 men of the second draft of the Ist Battalion of the New Zealand Regiment, Far East Land Forces, will enter Burnham Military Camp tomorrow to begin their basic training. With the first draft at present in camp there will be 230 recruits from the South Island. . This is slightly more than the quota set toy the South Island. In the North Island the quotas were: Northern district, 260; Central district, 240. The men will do basic training at Burnham for four weeks before going to Waipuru for corps and unit training.
