Kent 213 and four for 169 declared beat Worcestershire 126 and 128 (Kenyon 79; Half yard six for 49) by 128 runs. Yorkshire eight for 373 declared beat Leicestershire 190 and 170 (Hallam 60; Illingworth five for 52) by an innings and 12 runs. Gloucestershire 268 and one for 43 drew with Middlesex 132. Derbyshire 79 and 208 (Hamer 112 not out) drew with Surrey 264 and one for 2. Glamorgan seven for 354 declared and one for 111 (Parkhouse 53 not out) drew with Hampshire nine for 406 declared. Warwickshire four for 289 declared and 53 (Ralph five for 22, Preston four for 30) drew with Essex 261 (Savill 78) and seven for 66. Somerset 248 drew with Northamptonshire nine for 250 (Brookes 84, Barrick 63).
