Amended Betting Figures
Betting figures published last week for galloping meetings for the first 10 months this season wrongly represented a drop of £5,556,865 on the same period for the previous year. Totalisator investments on and off course, amounting to £28,373,119, represented a net decrease of £83,553. There was a decrease on-course of £510,924, but an increase off-course of £427,371.
The Auckland Racing Club on its meeting up to the end of May dropped £191,125 on-course, and £ 103,482 off-course.
