REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENTS
Appointments of managers and coaches for the Canterbury senior and senior reserve Rugby League teams for their matches against the West Coast at Greymouth on July 21 were made at last evening’s meeting of the Board of Control. The following were appointed:—senior: manager, Mr P. Morrissey; coach, Mr K. Andrews. Senior reserve: manager, Mr J. Davies; coach, Mr J. Graham.
August 3 was the date offered the Otago Rugby League for a senior B representative team from Canterbury to play the representative side
The following third grade players have been selected to represent Canterbury against Otago on Saturday, July 13:—M. Burt (Syd.), R. Mair (Syd.), E. McNichol (Horn.), N. Martin (Syd.), Manderson (Lin.), F. Clark (Syd.), B. Frazer (Syd.), P. Yaxley (Horn.), Lawson (Lin.), E. Bennett (Rice.), K. Shadwell (Hom.), B. Barron (Syd.), A. Miller (Syd.). Emergencies: H.
