Intelligence and Industry The farther south one went from Auckland, the more efficient wool-handling labour became, Mr B. S. Trolove, a member of the Wool Board, told a meeting of the Meat and Wool Section .of Hawke’s Bay Federated Farmers in Hastings. He said it had been oroved that Dunedin labour was twice as efficient as that in Auck’and. “That ties up with the contention that the intelligence of Aucklanders is higher,” a Federated Farmers delegate commented —(P.A.)
