AUCKLAND, July 4.
The double on the concluding day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s winter meeting on Saturday will be on the Churchill Handicap and the Waitemata Hack Handicap. A popular combination will be Our Bruce and Greek Legend.
The track will be easy. 11 a.m.—Bledisloe Hurdles: Ben Vola. Little Count, Recount.
11.50 a.m.—First New Lynn Hack Handicap: Bohemian, Erin's Bridge. Statement.
12.30 p.m.—Whau Steeplechase: Wigwam, Wattie, Our Star. 1.20 p.m.—Churchill Handicap: Our Bruce. Flying Meteor. Spring Fair. 2.5 p.m.—Grey Lynn Hack Handicap: Yardgar, Helenita, Talleyrand. 2.55 p.m.—Waitemata Hack Handicap: Greek Legend, Setanta, Tarrytown.
3.40 p.m.—Second New Lynn Hack Handicap: Beau Line, James Fox, Distinctive.
