RADIOTHERAPY PATIENTS
Accommodation For Visitors The exploration of the possibility of raising money by voluntary subscriptions for the purchase of a building to accommodate patients from outside Christchurch who attend for radiotherapy treatment at the Christchurch Hospital Board has been suggested to the North Canter-
bury Hospital Board by the Director of the Hospitals Division (Dr. C. A. Taylor).
The hospital committee reported to the board yesterday that it felt that the department had confused the issue and had misunderstood the . board’s intention to provide such facilities to obviate the need for those patients being admitted to hospital. . , The case would be represented to the department again in greater detail, said the committee. Four properties had been inspected, reported the finance committee, but none appeared suitable.
