No Visit By English Team Next Year

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 26. Sir Stanley Rous, secretary of «the English Football Association, has informed the New Zealand Football Association that England will not be able to send a team to New Zealand next year.

The English Football Association was already committed to send a team to West Africa, he said. However. there was support for a visit to New Zealand in the near future by an amateur team.

If an amateur team were to come, he said, it would have to travel the costly way by air. as the nlayers would be able to have the minimum leave from work. He thought games for the team in Fiji and other islands might help to defray costs.
