NAVAL OFFICER’S WIDOW

Mrs S. Twomey Back In N.Z. (New Zealand Press Association) MASTERTON, June 26. Mrs Shirely Twomey, widow of Lieutenant-Commander Bernard Twomey, of the Royal New Zealand Navy, arrived in Auckland from Britain on Monday. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs A. H. Benge and her sister, Miss B. Benge.

Mrs Twomey was critically ill after the fatal road accident in which her husband and two children, David, 11, and Anne, eight, were killed on Easter Monday. She is still far from well and suffering from lapse of memory.
