WEAPONS IN KOREA
Commission To Meet (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11.40 p.m.) SEOUL, June 25. The Communists have asked for, and the United Nations has agreed to, an armistice commission meeting to discuss the introduction of new weapons into Korea, it was announced today. The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. The Communists demanded a discussion of “violation of the armistice agreement.” The meeting will be held at Panmunjon. Last Friday, the United Nations denounced a clause in the agreement that prevented the introduction new weapons into Korea, saying that the Communists had consistently violated it.
