JUNIOR TOURNEY AT TEMPLETON
Seventy women took part in the junior tournament held by the Templeton Ladies* Golf Club yesterday The tournament was held under very good conditions, and women from several clubs took part. Results were:—
First Division (handicap 19-25). Best gross: Mrs C Wood (Templetn) 94; runner-up, Mrs R. Skilling (Ellesmere), 97, on a count-back from Mrs B. Whiteside (Russley). Best net: Mrs A. Oliver (Hororata), 96. 21 —75; runner-up, Mrs J. Fox (Russley), 99, 23—76 on a count-back from Mrs I. Newton (Ellesmere). Second Division (handicap 26-36). Sest gross: Mrs A. Stone (Waitikiri), 100; runer-up, Mrs C. Thompson (Waitikiri) 101. Best net: Mrs B. Kyle (Templeton), 101, 32—69; Tinner-up, Mrs J. H. McGavock, 108, 16—72.
