Two under-18 grade players wtio were ordered off the field last Saturday were stood down for one playing Saturday when they appeared before the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Football Union on Tuesday evening.
I The referee’s letter, the examination of the youths and the subse quent discussion on the penalty, were all taken in committee, aftei which the president (Mr R. W Blazey) announced the aecision oi the committee.
