Burrows—Scott: Mr and Mrs J. Scott, Rangiora, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their younger daughter, Nancy Margaret, to Colin James, youngest son of Mr and Mrs L. Burrows, Opawa, Christchurch.

A series of lectures entitled “Education Today” conducted under the auspices of the New Zealand Education Institute were discussed by a panel of speakers at a recent meeting of the Selwyn House Parents’ National Education Union. The speakers were: Mr B. F. Hill (chairman), Mesdames F. Miller, C. Spencer, A. H. Fitts and W. Ramsay, Deaconess Henderson and Dr. G. Rolleston.
