Mr W. Sullivan, a Minister in the National Government from 1949 until his retirement from politics this year, is created a Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in the Queen’s birthday honours. The Governor-General (Sir Willoughby Norrie) has announced that the Queen has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the celebration of Her Majesty’s birthday, to confer the following honours:—
