Mervyn Wood Honoured

The Australian Olympic sculler, Mervyn Wood, was one of 37 men and women honoured last week at the last investiture at Government House conducted by the New South Wales Governor (Sir John Northcroft). Wood received an M.B.E. in recognition of his outstanding representation in Australian amateur sport.
