STATE FLATS FOR SALE

Manchester Street Blocks Ready Prospective buyers of the Statebuilt flats in Manchester street on the former “Holly Lea” property will be able to inspect the flats next week. Built under the Government’s flats-for-sale scheme, the two buildings each contain two threebedroom flats and one two-bed-room flat with a balcony. They have been completed and handed over to the State Advances Corporation by the Ministry of Works. All that remains to be done is the sealing of the driveway.

The corporation- has had some fairly firm inquiries for the flats, but since they were begun it has also had a number of other inquiries at its office. It is mainly to keep faith with those inquirers that next week has been set aside for inspection. Would-be purchasers need to have more than £l5OO in cash.
