APRIL BUILDING PERMITS
Christchurch City Figures
During April, the district for which the most building permits were issued by the Christchurch City Council was Linwood with 78—19 more than in April. 1 956 This was the first time for many months that St Albans did not lead in the number of permits issued. The total for St. Albans was 68. four fewer than in the corresponding month last year. The value of the permits issued for St. Albans, however, was £76.340 while the Linwood figure was only £26.694 The St. Albans figure in April, 1956 was £62.288 Details are:— x
