Big Crowd At Airport
There was only one aircraft to see at Harewood airport yesterday but there were more persons there than saw the end of the international air race in 1953. It was Hare wood’s biggest day.
Traffic and "-owd control was tighter—and more effective—than ever seen at the airport befofe. Cars were nose-to-tail along both approach roads for more than four hours during the afternoon. There was a steady stream of traffic, and the new parking arrangements withstood well their biggest test yet.
