First Match Of Tour Against Canterbury The touring Hong Kong Chinese soccer team will arrive at Harewood Airport by Tasman Empire Airways at 10.10 p.m. on Wednesday June 5 The first match of the tour will oe against Canterbury cn Saturdav. June 8. Application for the use of Lancaster Park has been made for the game, but as vet no reply has been received by the Canterbury Football Association, v-hich is responsible for the arrangements for the team’s stay in Christchurch. The following derails of the team’s itinerary have been received from the New Zealand Football Association by Mr T. M. McGuigan, secretary to the Canterbury association:—

June 8, v. Canterbury, at Christchurch; Jurte 12. v. Southland. at Invercargill; June 18, v. Nelson, at Nelson; June 22, v. New Zealand, at Wellington: June 25 v. Poverty bay, at Gisborne: June 29 : v. New Zealand, at Auckland. July 2, depart for Australia, 9.30 a m.. by Tasman Empire Airways.

Auction Of House. — There was an error of £lOOO in figures, supplied to “The Press.” of the auction of a house at 38 Bolton avenue, Spreydon, on Wednesday. A report yesterday morning said that bidding opened at £3250. and the house was passed in at £3550. Bidding opened at £2250, and ended at £2550.
