Scottish Titles Matches The Christchurch table tennis player, Miss J. M. Williamson, competed with considerable success in the recent Scottish table tennis championships. In the women’s singles she was runner-up to Miss H. Elliott, the top Scottish player Miss Elliott also beat Miss Williamson in the final of the Essex county championships. In the Scottish championships. Miss Williamson won the mixed doubles with the top Australian player, P Anderson, who also won the mens singles. Miss Williamson will spend the winter coaching «n holiday camps She has received permission from the New Zealand Table Tennis Association to undertake a contract for coaching at Clacton for three months Although she was teaten fairly comfortably by Miss EHiott in these two finals.
