Hannah Seeks Bout With Shaw
(New Zealand Press Association) HASTINGS. Mav 2. Former British Empire Games boxer, Mike Hannah, who won six of nis eight professional fights in Australia, has returned to Hastings. Hannah said he was keen to meet the national welter-weight champion. Barney Shaw, for his title. He added that he weighed lost 71h for his last contest, and would have no trouble remaining within the welter-weight limit. He did not intend to box again in Australia, and after a few fights In New Zealand would retire.
