N.Z. Attitude To South Pacific Commission

The leader of the New Zealand delegation to the South Pacific Commission conference (Mr G. E. L. Aiderton) said today that the New Zealand Government was well satisfied with the commission since it began to function nine years ago.

Mr Aiderton, the New Zealand High Commisioner in Australia, said the commission was making a valuable contribution to wards solving the problems of the islands, and it should be of great benefit in the future to the island people.
