Sugar Bags
Sir, —I was interested in a report in your paper on April 18 of the Country Women’s Institutes. Miss N. Moore suggested plastic bags for sugar. I think sugar needs air and plastic bags would not be satisfactory. Perhaps there could be an improvement in sugar-bags, but I feel the open-weave bags are the best for sugar. Clean string does not affect sugar very much.— Yours, etc., E.P.D. April 24, 1957.
