SOUTH PACIFIC COMMISSION Conference To Review Work (N.Z. G. Casey) said in a press statement today. Mr Casey said that Australia and New Zealand had suggested a . re Y iew of the work of the commission, which, he said, had progressed in 10 years from an idea to a valuable aid to the governments concerned in welfare in the South Pacific islands. Mr Casey mentioned particularly the fields of education, health and agriculture. . Mr Casey said that about 30 delegates from the commission’s six member nations—Australia, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States—would attend the 10-day conference. N.Z. DELEGATION ANNOUNCED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 15. The New Zealand delegation td the South Pacific Commission’s review conference will be led by the High Commissioner in Australia (Mr G. E. L. Aiderton). The other members of the delegation will be the Secretary of Island Territories (Mr ’ J. B. Wright), the New Zealand Commissioner on the South Pacific Commission (Mr C. G. R. McKay), and an Assistant-Secretary of External Affairs (Mr C. Craw).
