Auckland History.— The New
Zealand High Commissioner in London, Sir Clifton Webb, has written to British newspapers asking for documents and records connected with Auckland province The history of the province including Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty, he says, is being written by two university professors. They were anxious to have access to documents, journals or letters which had been sent by settlers in the area to relatives and trends in Britain-London. April 13.
