COMMERCIAL RIGHTS ON MT. RUAPEHU TONGARIRO NATIONAL PARK THE Tongariro National Park Board wishes to establish facilities for visitors at the top end of Bruce road on Mount Ruapehu. The Board’s proposal is that an all purpose building be erected which will incorparate:— Shop for sale of groceries, skiers’ requisites, etc. Restaurant, Public Shelter Ski Hire Room. First-aid Room Boot Hire Room, Post Office Conveniences A shop is also required at the Staircase or Hut Flat to provide refreshments, ski requisites, etc. Inquiries are invited from interested parties for the right to erect these buildings and rights to conduct the businesses set out above. Inquirers should submit their proposals together with rough sketch plans and be able to satisfy the Board that the}’ have the capital and ability to carry out the enterprise should the rights eventually be granted.
