(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12 Net profit of Silknit (N.Z.), Ltd., lingerie manufacturers. Auckland, declined by £4643 to £13,117 in the year ended December 31, 1956. The result was struck after provision of £93 less for depreciation of £3942. Again no tax provision was necessary. The debit balance of £41,122 carried forward in the previous year was reduced by the current net profit and a debit balance of £28,005 was carried forward.

National Bank of Australasia.— An interim dividend of 4J per cent, is payable on May 29, ex May 16. (P.A.)
