New Regime in Haiti.— Haiti was given its third provisional government in four months today. An executive council was sworn in yesterday to serve until the Presidential elections scheduled for June 16. Formation of the council ended a political crisis touched off by charges of unfair electoral practices against the provisional President, Mr Franck Sylvain.—Port-au-Prince, April 8.
