Rain since yesterday has improved the Awapuni track which is in good order for the third day of the Manawatu Trotting Club’s autumn meeting on Saturday. The double will be on the Manawatu Trotting Handicap and the Stewards’ Handicap Trot. Selections: —

11.30 a.m.—Rangitikei Handicap Trot: Lochhaven, Egyptian Rose. Rossola.

12.10 p.m.—Terrace End Handicap— First Division: Bay Charger, Monterey. Second Division: Shana, Lucky Briton.

12 50 p.m.—Manawatu Futurity Stakes: Noelle’s Report, Caricature, Stronsay.

1.30 p.m.—Manawatu Trotting Handicap: Bindora. Speculation, Silent Scot.

2.15 p.m.—Longburn Handicap: Slip Along, Alchemist, Lady Content. 3 p.m.—stewards’ Trot Handicap: Legislate. Perekop, Lady Belwin. 340 p.m.—Lockwood Handicap: Southerner, Anton - Streamliner bracket, Nawton Star-Rosaleen bracket.
