INJURED DRIVER DIES

(New Zealand Press Association) WAIHI. April 11. Lawrence Walter Lind, aged 22. of Feilding. died in the Waihi Public Hospital yesterday after an unusual accident. Married at Palmerston North last Saturday. Mr and Mrs Lind were on their honeymoon. On Monday, when they were near Whangamata. Mr Lind had his elbow out of his car. and a passing truck hit it. Mr Lind’s arm was broken, in several places and badly cut. Mr Lind was admitted to hospital and the arm was amputated yesterday, but he died a few hours later.
